Consistent Recruitment are now supporting an Essex based company in their search for a Sales Team Manager. This is a brand-new opportunity to take an existing sales department in a new direction and to shape the future of the department.
This is a hugely successful electrical/mechanical retail company with an enviable supply chain and route to market.
Currently the majority of sales is inbound/Account Management with minimal proactive outbound sales calls, clients are stockists and wholesale, so the opportunity is there to win high value orders.
This Sales Team Manager role is to create an outbound/telesales department by designing and implementing a strategic sales plan to increase and maximise the company’s customer base and ensure their strong presence.
You will achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team and all sales activities within the company, which will include creating the sales plan, training, recruitment, motivating, performance monitoring, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans and analysing results
You will be experienced in running a successful Telesales/outbound sales team in a product-based environment either automotive, hire, builder’s merchants or industrial supplies as an example.
