Technical Sales Executive Full Time Permanent

Consistent Recruitment are currently supporting a Harlow based thriving electrical company in their search for a new Technical Sales Manager to join them.  With no ill effects from lockdown they are forging ahead with their recruitment plans.

This Technical Sales Manager job is initially office-based (Harlow) but this will progress to a Field Sales role so a full driving licence is essential.  For the successful candidate a long-term career with good prospects to grow within the organisation are on offer, this is a genuine opportunity to progress to Director level so if you have ambitious plans then this could be for!

You must have experience selling an electrical/electronic product B2B as the ability to grasp the basic understandings is paramount.

Duties:

• Research and identify business opportunities within electrical retailers or industrial manufacturing
• Contact prospects via telephone, email and other channels with the aim of booking an appointment for a sales meeting
• Prepare for and attend sales meetings
• Provide quotes to the correct specification for each client
• Follow through to close of sale
• Build strong relationships
• Ensuring you have a pipeline of potential business
• Maximise all opportunities for further business

Requirements:

• Proven B2B Sales experience with a technical product
• Experience in finding and opening new accounts with larger corporate industrial customers is essential
• Products are of a very technical electronic nature and the ability to grasp the electrical principles is paramount. Electrical/Electronic background and a technical qualification is essential.
• We are looking for someone who wants a long-term career with good prospects to grow within the organisation to Director level.
• Full driving licence

Benefits:

• Salary £24,000 – £30,000 plus commission
• 25 days plus Bank Holidays (3 days allocated at Christmas shutdown)
• Mon – Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm – early finish on a Friday
